The relevance of my Top 25 ballot at this point pales in comparison to the storylines of conference tournaments, NPI, and the at-large bid conversation.
I am thinking at this time you are so busy should not vote for a top 25 even though it means absolutely nothing. I feel Notre Dame and UCLA womans teams would love your vote and Texas would not care for your theories. You don’t care if a team loses, that doesn’t mean anything so you leave them in the same spot? I hate to break it to you but if you lose you go down in the poll that is the point of the poll. To get a vote you should be open minded and realize this. I will give you credit ibeing one of the few people who care about d-3.
Not necessarily true. My voting philosophy might be different from others, but I think most around the game would agree that 24-1 Scranton is not all that different from 25-0 Scranton. It's the same team, same players, same body of work. Yes, they took a road loss to a very high-level program on Saturday. I don't think that automatically means they need to be bumped down. I'm voting more on body of work/efficiency/eye test than reacting to results.
The problem is 25-0 is completely different than 24-1. UCLA lost to a great team and moved down the polls, South Carolina had won like 73 straight conference game but lost and moved down. If you lose you move down. Maybe you would get me on if NYU lost because they have destroyed everyone and I think are clearly number 1. I think you have made a great point on why we need the NPI. While not perfect it takes the human element out of it. Again I am happy to have an disagreement with somebody who cares about d-3.
I updated the post, as for some reason the screenshot of my ballot was not initially included. 6-10 went: Trine, Whitman, Catholic, Smith, Gustavus Adolphus.

What is the exact order of your ballot for teams 6-10?
