Thanks for the pointer to the (now ex-) parent discussing his side of the situation at RHIT. That's even more sad than it originally appeared if even half of his talking points are true.
Absolutely Ron...only reason I referenced him is that he has been a pretty frequent poster over the years and through this whole thing. Everything he had said about RHIT cancelling the WBB season did in fact occur, so I feel his statements have quite a bit of truth to them. That said, this is only one side of the story. I have continued considering reaching out to RHIT and putting together some sort of story on this whole debacle. The initial press release said something to the effect of the AD would be willing to expand on this decision if contacted by media members, so I will see. An interesting and very sad situation for sure. Only hope that the program can rebound and the administration can see what value high quality athletics bring to a university/college.
