Hard to tell what the ref saw there to warrant a whistle. Probably the rebounder/shooter's right arm got hacked just as she's was starting to go up for the shot. Speaking of free-throw disparities, in yesterday's ODAC quarter final Roanoke shot 28 (made 23), RMC shot 11 (made 7) in what turned out to be an eight point win (77-69] for Roanoke. That said, sometimes one team just fouls more. I have no idea because I didn't watch the game.

The bigger issue, as you courageously point out , is the disparity in Free Throws attempted. The Referees literally decided this game. Let the players decide the game. This happens way too often in women’s DIII.
