The 2023 D3hoops.com All-America team has been released! Lots of names you’d expect in here, many of whom are sophomores, which indicts just how bright the future for D3 WBB is. The 25-player team includes Jostens Trophy winner Elycse Knudsen, representatives from both national championship teams, and a couple from the same school (looking at you, UW-Whitewater and CNU!).
These are high honors for everyone on this list. With 400+ programs currently playing D3 women’s basketball, to be selected as one of the nation’s 25 best players is incredible. All 10 regions are well-represented, and having watched the majority of these players multiple times via livestream this past season, I think this All-America team turned out great.
As for the major awards, it took a lot of conversation and thought from the D3hoops.com team…they (myself included) take these awards very seriously and take great pride in truly selecting the most deserving recipients of these national honors.
So here we go…your 2023 D3hoops.com WBB All-Americans (link: https://d3hoops.com/awards/all-americans/women/2023)

100% agree with the Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. Two great players who were fun to watch this year. Morrison made Smith tick and Schleusner was just fun to watch, like 6-2 deer, running up and down the court.
Coach of the year also fitting, Transylvania having a spectacular year, knocking off big time programs on their way to the Championship
